I am a multidisciplinary French illustrator and designer currently based in Sydney.
I have been exposed to art and design for as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in the south west of France, in a small town by the countryside. My early experiences of being close to nature have inspired me to make this the centre of my work. As I grew up, I spent a lot of time painting with my Mother, Françoise Pons, in her Art Studio; I was always drawn to the beauty and fine detail of the wondrous, natural beauty that surrounded my childhood adventures.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication, and working in-house for various design companies in Bordeaux, London and Sydney, I am now freelancing full-time.
My main illustration style involves watercolour and pencil work and is characterised by a delicate and free gesture. I find watercolour is delicate and light, it allows me to build up thin layers to create a piece of art full of depth and detail. I like to use white spacing and lighting to help bring more power to the surrounding colours.
A few pieces of my work where exhibited at the Fairfield museum (near Sydney) in 2015.
I am available for freelance projects, commissions and collaborations. Please feel free to contact me!
